Referee Game Day Guide

This guide covers:

Team/Player Check-in is REQUIRED and must be completed by a Referee
Teams and players must be registered in soccercasa.com and provide 2 copies of their printed roster.  The roster must be less than 24 hours old.  Timestamp at the bottom in red.  Any suspended players will be marked on the roster.

Before the game starts you must confirm that each player is on their team’s roster and that their roster number matches their jersey.  Most teams do not write in roster numbers because they change from week to week.  If there are no numbers, the referee will write them in at check-in. A player that registers late (within 24 hours of a game) may show you a receipt to play.  Write them in.

After team check in, take a picture of the roster.  You will need to submit it with the game report.

Fields and Team Benches
On the yellow turf pod all teams MUST put their benches in between fields 5 and 6. The technical area is located from the edge of the center circle 10 yards down the line towards the 18 yard line. Technical areas are not marked but please make sure that teams are in the correct spot. Substitutions are Unlimited
Substitutions may be made on a goal, goal kick, at half, while it is your throw in or when a player is injured (both teams). No substitutions on offsides, free kicks, or corner kicks.  If the opposing team substitutes, both teams may substitute.

Game Length and Delays
Games are 90 minutes long.  There is a 10 minute grace period for teams to be on the field, checked in by you, and ready to kickoff. YOU MAY NOT START THE CLOCK BEFORE THE GRACE PERIOD.  If your game starts late, reduce the half time not the game time.  If you are in a situation where there is not enough time to complete the game, work with the coaches.  Both must agree to any time length reduction.
